Suzan Mazzawi
Founder and winemaker
A mother of three children, Suzan is a true believer in the power of a united family bond rooted in love. She has been a professional solo singer at the Annunciation Church in Nazareth since her youth, and rose to celebrity status as she started a career as a TV and radio broadcaster 16 years ago. Later on, Mazzawi joined her husband Fadoul to manage their advertising agency, working with high-end and international brands. Her passion for winemaking and Christian values, as well as her love for the Holy Land, led her to study the art of producing ultra-premium wine and revive the first miracle of Jesus in Cana. In Cana Winery, her first wine project, she assembled and manages a handpicked team of seasoned wine professionals, currently adding their experience and knowhow to Mazzawi’s vision, enthusiasm and relentless perfectionistic character.

In 2000, he co-founded Ish Ha’Anavim (“The Grape Man”), an independent center dedicated to advancing wine culture through courses, tastings, and consultancy services. Gan consults to both private operators (including several prominent Israeli wine producers) and public institutions (such as The Israel Export Institute).
