Our Story
Suzan Mazzawi, Co-Founder & CEO
Suzan Mazzawi, a Christian from Nazareth, felt a profound calling inspired by The First Miracle in Cana: to honor the mystery of marriage and love, and to rekindle the moment where it all began.
Suzan serves as a guardian of the covenant narrative, rooted in the very land where this story was first revealed. Her heritage and unwavering conviction lend an authenticity like no other. She believes love can be eternal, and that belief is poured into every decision we make.
The vision of founding a winery began to take shape as early as 2018, when Suzan and her family journeyed through the vineyards in the Cana area of the Galilee, deepening her knowledge of winemaking in pursuit of reviving that sacred moment.
By 2020, the Mazzawi family had begun investing in the cultivation of select vineyards in the Galilee region and in crafting the winery’s future premium wines with uncompromising standards of excellence.

Cana Winery has created immersive guided tours as an integral part of its content world in Sepphoris – the first-century city near Cana and selected Galilee vineyards. The tours bring the sacred path of the first miracle to life, providing a tasting experience of the Wedding Miracle premium wine and food from that era.
